Investigation of pistachio production

Although the rate of pistachio production has been growing to three times in the last 12 years, but again the U.S has been the main rival as usual – trying to exceed Iran in international market- but Iranian pistachio is still the best in quality and taste.

375,000 mt pistachios have been produced in Iran which is 54.5% more than its previous year. Therefore as it’s shown below, last year was a peak in exporting pistachio during the last 12 years:

After exporting oil, exporting pistachio has had the most foreign exchange for Iran. Every year 1.5 billion dollar pistachio is being exported to the other countries.
